In this 80's inspired science fiction action-drama series, ex-convicts are given a last chance at redemption when they are accepted to the exclusive RFS Academy, a secret division of the Allied Forces of Humanity Union: a secret intelligence segment of mankind's armed forces. Once considered the scum of the galaxy, now the survival of the human race may rest solely on their shoulders.
WELCOME : Over the last 20 years, mankind has dedicated itself and succeeded in its excursion to the outer rims of the galactic landscape with one purpose and one purpose alone: Expansion. It is a phenomenal time for the human race. With the celestial awakening, there has been an expansion of knowledge and human technology has reached its pinnacle. The human race has reached beyond home font, Ateth (formally known as Earth), to the farthest reaches of the celestial map. With the exception of one place that has remained devoid of all human contact: This place, this celestial sector is known as PON. When the alien planet of PON makes a public announcement warning all alien territories and colonies to be wary of mankind's presence due to their destructive nature, an uprising begins that will start an age old war that will rattle not only the nation, but the galaxy. The RFS Fleet, an armed military force of renegade misfits are chosen to determine humanity's fate and destiny as they remain mankind's only defenders in a universe where they stand alone.

The Amalgamate 505 was crafted to both mimic and better the capabilities of PON’s developed artificial intelligence. The devices themselves uniquely combine artificially progressive learning capabilities alongside the authentic human intelligence of the actual device wielder, making both device and man capable of adapting to any presented situation.
The device itself requires the physical insertion of the wielder’s arm in order to execute the final step necessary to fully destroy a unit of PON artificial intelligence. This process is known as ’bonding ’. Bonding is a highly dangerous, extensive and physically exhausting process that can only be successfully executed by a trained and approved RFS 505 Squad agent. Bonding attempted by any unauthorized personnel has the high probability of resulting in immediate death and is therefore prohibited for anyone other than by RFS approved 505 Squad agents.
The amalgamate devices maintain a propulsion subsystem much like a spacecraft, which allows for segmentation of the device into sub-devices. In order for bonding to take place, the amalgamate model most be fully intact in its origin state.

It is advised; other than in approved special circumstances, that wielders refrain from operating an amalgamate beyond their originally bonded gun. A high level Tyon ignition laser, from a crystal found on the alien planet of "Tyon", is what permits the Amalgamates to produce such a strong, penetrative beam that can defeat PON A.I. This same crystal placed within an anti-gravity propulsion engine with laser "ignition" capabilities permits a unique light strong enough to penetrate through the event horizon of a black hole. This is what enables both Amalgamates to penetrate PON A.I. and allows this future's spacecraft to travel through black holes.

THE MISSION
For humanity...for survival.
With PON making their disapproval and disdain of mankind known in a public statement to the Committee of Intergalactic Unions (the CIU). The public announcement warns against the esurient and corrupt nature of mankind and that all remaining galactic unions should be wary of their presence outside of Ateth's stratosphere. Over the proclamation, a sense of panic ensues for many alien peoples and what starts off as mere fear, quickly progresses into the eradication of mass human civilians via a new construction of PON artificial intelligence.
In a desperate response to prevent the loss of further human life and possible genocide, the AFH, (the Allied Forces of Humanity Union) hastily releases Project Amalgamate.

Project Amalgamate initiates the focus on the study, manipulation and recreation of PON’S artificial intelligence so it can be used for mankind’s advantage. These studies eventually lead to the development of the first amalgamate device model, the 505, and eventually the recruitment of the RFS. The RFS is a new armed force of individuals specifically trained and selected to wield the unique amalgamate devices in order to better defend the human race from PON extermination.
